Glue

What holds us together? The solid bond that cannot be broken goes beyond any soft idea about a “new thing”. It’s not a new thing. It’s an old thing. It has been here all along, and was not invented nor created by man, but by God. It’s how families and friendships endure and how faith is put into action every day when bodies fail and promises fall short. You can’t get elected to provide this, but you can provide it after you do.

Though often absent when needed, it’s never really gone. Again, it’s the glue. There is enough of it to keep us together because it is not supplied by us, but by God. Love is unlimited, whether we make use of it or leave it lying around untouched. Thankfully we can be prompted to remember it again and bring it to the day. It is unstoppable and unafraid and makes us so as well. It is far beyond us, so we don’t go out alone. We take it with us. God invented it, so it won’t go away. We can abuse it, but we can’t destroy it. It comes out pure again every time.

Read the book. Love wins. We can be there, or not.
